Sinson Saint-Albin [(?) according to the letter by Mrs. Monnerot to her son, 1 May 1840, as "Lazière Saint-Albin")] in 1840; acquired by Mr. and Mrs. Eugène Aubry-Vitet by 1893 and by descent until 2006: sale, Christie's Paris, 22 June 2006, lot 71; private collection; acquired by the previous owner; purchased by NMWA, 2017.
