イタリア風のモティーフを集めて構成された1枚。古代の浅浮彫のような構図の中央を行くのは、古代神話の神々を思わせるカップルを乗せた凱旋車である。周囲には、炎を揚げ、あるいは勝利のしるしの棕櫚の枝を手にする女たちがつき従う。列の後尾を武装した男たちが追っているが、凱旋車上では、恋人の魅力に屈した彼らの司令官が、甲冑を脱ぎ捨ててしまっている。この表現は「愛」は「争い」に優るという寓意をふまえたものであろう。(出典: クラインマイスター：16世紀前半ドイツにおける小画面の版画家たち, 2012. [展覧会作品解説パネル])
