『パリの盗っ人風情』：（6）傘の荒技 嵐を盾に、盗っ人が首尾よく成果をあげるのをご覧じろ・・・通りすがりに人の目の前に傘を押しつけ、獲物の時計やガマ口、札入れを失敬する <Parisian Freebooters>: (6) The Umbrella-trick: The freebooter takes advantage of the storm [,] going about it in the manner you see [here]... he pushes his umbrella into the face of a passer-by and seizes his victim's Watch, Purse or Pocket-book.
