『当世代議士鑑 立法議会』：（37）ライット将軍 外務大臣の、単に人々が見たままの姿の肖像。彼は重々しくたぐいまれなる機会に、演壇の前にそびえ立ち、彼の雄弁と口髭を見せる。その口髭はとりわけ、つねにより多くの偉大な効果をもたらす。 <The Representatives Represented / The Legislative Assembly>: (37) General Ducos de Lahitte: Portrait of this Minister of Foreign Affairs, as he appears to simple mortals, on those occasions – seldom less rare than solemn – when he comes forth in the tribune to show us his eloquence and his moustache. Above all, his moustache achieves the greater effect.
