数日後、マリアとヨセフはイェルサレムの神殿にのぼり、キリストを奉献した（《神殿におけるキリスト奉献》G.2000-0013）。一方、キリスト誕生の噂に自らの地位が脅かされることを恐れたヘロデ王は、ベツレヘム地方の2歳以下の男児を皆殺しにするよう命じる。これを知ったヨセフは、マリアとキリストを連れてエジプトへ一時避難した（《エジプト逃避》G.2000-0014）。数年後、12歳になったキリストは、両親と過ぎ越しの祭りの際イェルサレムに赴く。帰り道、息子がいないことに気づいた両親が町に戻ると、キリストは神殿で学者たちと博学な議論を交わしていた（《学者たちと議論するキリスト》G.2000-0015）。さらに月日が流れ、成人したキリストは、自らの教えを説くようになる。そしてある日、3人の弟子を連れて山に登ったキリストは、彼らの前で白く輝く姿へと変容してみせた。そこには古の預言者モーセとエリヤも現れ、キリストと語らった（《キリストの変容》G.2000-0016）。(出典: クラインマイスター：16世紀前半ドイツにおける小画面の版画家たち, 2012.
